The Ministry of Environment (Japan) will be holding the International Youth Conference on Biodiversity in Aichi 2010. This is scheduled for August 2010, and is aimed at providing a platform for youths from around the globe to share their ideas, thoughts and knowledge in biodiversity.

The conference is being held in conjunction with the 10th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity that will be held in Aichi in August 2010.

This conference takes impetus from a previous International Youth Conference held just before COP9 in Germany (May 2008), and the Asia Youth Conference held in Japan (August 2009).
