Access to clean water supply is firmly recognized as human rights by the United Nations General Assembly since 2010. However, GEC is aware that in Malaysia, there are still rural areas and indigenous communities lacking of clean water supply.

To combat this problem, GEC initiated this project in 2018 to empower the affected communities on water resource sustainability especially potable (drinking and cooking) water conservation and supply.

It Is expected that the selected villages will have a minimum of 20 households with estimation of minimum of 5-10 households can be supported with clean water source.
