To mainstream wetland biodiversity conservation and promote integrated management of high altitude wetlands in Ruoergai Plateau and Altai mountains to support biodiversity conservation and sustainable development

1. Upland peatland restoration and sustainable use techniques demonstrated to local government and scaled up to large scale to reduce GHG emissions, conserve biodiversity and enhance water resources management

2. Technical guidance provided to UNDP and the Chinese State Forestry Administration to ensure effective implementation of US$6million project for conservation and sustainable use of wetlands in China
